What a top notch hotel for the price. Lovely gold course, super clean spacious rooms if booking superior, topped up with an amazing on site manager/owner Simon who is an absolute delight to talk to and has the most friendly disposition of any hotel manager I have ever met. He definitely goes out of the way to make you feel at home at his hotel. I couldn't rave about Simon's hospitality enough. Thorough gentleman. The room I had, had amazing views of the golf course. The hotel also has a driving range and ample parking and seemed wheelchair friendly too. The breakfast could be a tiny bit more wide ranging but maybe that's how they keep the costs down on these amazing rooms. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough for a relaxing weekend in Cornwall.
This was a quaint place in Cornwall. The staff was super helpful! We had been traveling for two weeks, and my husband had run out of clean clothes. They washed them for him. We gave the woman a tip because this isn't a service they really offer, but they took pity on him. They were so nice to help us. There weren't many food options in the area, so we ate at the hotel both nights. The food was pretty good. This place was cozy with a nice view of the golf course and a great staff.

We stayed in this hotel for one night and it was a very nice experience. The hotel is very clean and well maintained by the owners. Around the hotel is peace and quiet and you can see old historic church and grave yard, it is just right for people who are looking for an escape from cities and factories. Breakfast at the hotel It was very delicious 😋 the hotel owners are very nice and helpful 👍 I recommend you visit the pub port of William Inn which is 14 minutes away by car from the hotel and has a wonderful view of the beach and sunset. The hotel is near the tintangle castle and so it is in a good position to visit some nice places 👍
Lovely Cornish hotel with super friendly owner, roger. Rooms are comfortable and the hotel is situated at beautiful grounds with swimming pool. Breakfast is good, we loved our stay here. I absolutely recommend to stay here at the lanteglos country house

My favourite pub out of our whole week's stay. Great homemade food, great choice of menu, don't be put off by no menu on website. Proper pub food, and lots of specials, relaxing and welcoming environment. Wishing the owners every success.
Don't bother with a starter, the main course servingscare HUGE! Food all home cooked and very tasty. Staff are polite and friendly... defiantly recommended.

The only drawback was the bathroom that was not en suite. Mandy is a kind manager. Rooms are confortable and clean, breakfast is satisfactory.
Very peaceful just what we needed

My wife and I spent a couple of nights here recently. I'd put a superlative here but it's pointless. There are too many to mention, but I dare say a few will creep into this review. On arrival you are greeted with a wide hallway that leads the the beautiful lounge and the cozy Red Room and onto the stairs and reception. Everywhere is beautifully decorated. The modern dining room with stunning views of the Cornish countryside finishes the ground floor. Our room was in keeping with the rest of the house. Beautiful and cozy. The "in room" facilities were excellent and plentiful. The local knowledge of our hosts Nigel and Sharon and their love of Cornwall is clear to see. However, the facilities are only half of the story. What sets the Pendragon head and shoulders above the competition is the culinary expertise of the owners Sharon and Nigel. If you choose to stay here do yourself a favour and book yourself in to eat. Nigel uses local ingredients, supporting the local business while being ethically and ecologically sound. I don't think you will eat a better quality meal anywhere in 50 mile radius. One the day we arrived we were the only guests so we ate in The Red Room, Nigel had prepared a roaring log fire and completely by accident my wife and I were presented with a surprise, unplanned private dining experience. I've never put myself in the hands of the chef before, but I needn't had worried, Nigel asks if there is anything you don't like and off he goes. The mystery meal was simply (insert superlative here). The Hake was perfect, as was Sharons ice cream meringue dessert. A (insert superlative here) meal in a (insert superlative here) setting. We finished the evening off with a game of pool in the basement. I only got to try two of the breakfast options but I could have just stuck a pin in the menu and been happy. In the "Pendragon" Nigel and Sharon have created a perfect pearl of a small hotel. Welcoming, warm, friendly and comfortable. Thoroughly, heartily and totally recommended.
Very good and fantastic place to be very friendly people rooms were fantastic perfect place for wedding 10 out of 10
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

Beautiful peacfull working farm site great for getting away from it all no frills just real countryside living well away from road noise just birds horses and sheep.. shower block very clean and tidy...
This is NOT suitable for large motorhomes (unless it's been very dry for a very long time). No heating in toilet/shower block and freezing tiles. Horrible. Luckily the site was practically empty when we were there, with more people, the 2 showers would be totally inadequate. No shop, even though there is a tack shop. Signage for campers awful. People camping come a very poor second to the equestrian centre. Despite booking 2 months in advance and giving all the dimensions of the motorhome, we had really not been catered for. I know that the weather can't be helped. The weeks of rain had turned the site into a mudbath and there are no backup hardstanding pitches. We got stuck in mud on the only tiny path/road through the site, with no way to turn round. The people were nice enough and a friendly chap towed us out, but the tiny bit of hardstanding next to the toilet block was totally insufficient. We ended up having to use the gateway to a field, which meant parking on a slope, not good for sleeping/cooking. Suggestions: - If you don't want to create some hardstanding pitches, at least use the plastic matting that is designed to stabilise grass (take a look at the Cobweb carpark in Boscastle) - Create a turning circle, so larger vehicles stand a chance and won't get bogged down, trying to turn round on the tiny road. - The shower/toilet block is horrible in wet/cold weather - no mats to stand on, no heating, we could see our breath in there. At least install some form of heating for colder weather (we did pay £85 for 5 nights after all) - You have a tack shop and a reception, so why not have a small stock of essentials (milk, butter, bread, beans, etc)? - Some signage would have stopped us passing reception, thinking it was just the equestrian bit. - If you do not wish to cater for larger motorhomes, then please don't encourage them. (but thanks to the nice chap who towed us out of the quagmire) I guess if you are just there for horseriding, the weather is nice and dry, you have a tent/light vehicle and there aren't too many booked in, it is probably ok.

What a wonderful little break. Firstly the service I received was exceptional Tracey and Chris couldn’t have been more helpful. The caravan we stayed in was immaculate and my wife has an eye for detail so that’s impressive! The location couldn’t have been better 15 mins from the beach and only a short drive from all the beauty spots. I will be coming again and thank you.
A lovely campsite with level pitches, clean showers and toilet facilities. Friendly owners
